What the work looks like in Elk

Elk is a few hundred people, a store, and a lot of land. It is exactly the sort of place Mike means when he says the small towns are where the company does well. Nobody is putting out content about log home work in Elk, and the people who live there are mostly asking a neighbour who they used.

The December 2024 showcase is a straight log restoration: old failed finish and UV damaged wood removed by media blasting so the stain had clean wood to go onto, then the finish built back up.

Work out here gets scheduled in runs. If a crew is coming to Elk it is worth asking about the deck and the shop at the same time, because the mobilisation is the expensive part of a small job.
